Description:

Under the supervision of the show prop master and scenic designer, Safely build, modify and maintain both hard and soft props for all Department of Theatre Arts and Dance Productions. Duties include framing and finish carpentry, rigging, welding, reading plans, safe tool use, sculpting, stitching and draping, painting and other duties as assigned..

Qualifications:

  • Must have successfully completed THEA 1513 Stagecraft and ideally have completed THEA 3323 Stagecraft II
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to work at heights.
